Clean Closet!

Well, spring break is about over. Only one of my outlines is up to date. I still don't understand contracts and I barely did anything on my fun spring break to do list. But, my closet is clean, I know how to make pies, I've caught up on sleep, I've gotten a tan. I'm going to take my victories where I can find them. 

Making Pies with Grandma

I spent the day with Grandma, learning how to make pies. It was one of Dad's requirements when I moved to Austin. 

So yummy! This gets me like a million points in the favorite daughter competition.

I can't believe it took so long to invent the snuggy, I mean can you do THIS in a normal blanket?? 

Didn't think so. . .so don't judge me. 

Spring Break should happen every week.

A few pictures from my day, I can't figure out how to put them in order. I spent the entire afternoon laying out a Barton Creek with friends. Before they got there I actually managed to get some reading done!

After a day of laying out, I came home to a house that smelled AMAZING. I'm proud to say that I made a roast!! Who would have thought?? It was actually pretty good, not the kind of pot roast that mom makes...but different is good!!

I've decided that there should always be flowers in my kitchen, they make me happy every single morning!!! 

this is what writing a memo looks like. . . who cares if Jim Halpert can sue for defamation? No one, especially not me. 

The cure for that nightmare where you show up somewhere naked: know that you have friends that will scream loudly at the paparazzi while covering you up....

If I try to blog and expect myself to write a lot and expect said writing to be witty I'll quit before I even start. I think I can handle throwing pictures up...maybe eventually I'll be able to step it up a bit. 

Right now is the best time in law school. No one is stressing about school yet and even though it's frusturating to watch friends find jobs before you it's not time to freak out....just yet anyhow. So everyone is having fun making memories that'll help us make it through the rest of the semester. 

As a side note, it was 80 degrees this weekend in Austin...it's January. I may never leave.
